About

Without Coffee is about me: what I like, what I read, what I think, what I wish would happen.

I read to entertain myself, to meet new characters, to learn things, to live in a stage filled with imagination, to travel to both the past and the present. I write, sometimes. But I am far from being good at it. I cannot explain why I even bother.

I am fond of reading British classics, romance, and urban fantasy. I also read chick lit, even when most of the people I know absolutely hate it. Yes, I am a hopeless romantic and I’m bound to ship what for me is my OTP once there is a hint of a relationship in a novel.

But as for movies, some of them can do without it. But I digress.

I am a student. I study, do my homework, write papers, research, et cetera. I love reading books so sometimes I do not study, sometimes I cram, sometimes I do not feel like writing papers and essays, and most of the time I’d rather lie down on the couch in the living room and read a good book instead of researching on academic topics.

I love designing sites and other things. I love watching drama, reading manga, perfecting the look of a layout and editing many pages. I also love reading books which is why there are times when I do not feel like designing sites and other things. There are times when I am reading a book instead of watching the next, latest subtitled episode or of reading the latest scanlation.

I like to keep a record of the book’s I’ve read and what I’ve thought about them which is why there is this. And Without Coffee is entitled as such because I keep myself awake when I am stressed with work to do due to procrastination (a result of giving in to the temptation called “a perfectly good novel”) without the side-effects of caffeine.

It has a negative effect on my skin anyway.
